Zotaxians are the dominant species of planet Zotax. After a war with their cruel leader, most of them fled with their new queen Gypsy Moth and crash landed on planet Holox, where they were forced to burrow underground for survival due to harsh conditions on the surface. They created vehicles called Insectoids to escape the notice of the Bilgen Bugs and used Voltstones to collect energy from the planet's inner sun.
