A spaceship, sometimes known as a starship or simply a ship, is a vehicle that can transport one or several people through space. Spaceships come in far too many sizes and designs to even begin to cover here.
In order to avoid the inconvenience of their passengers dying and rotting away into nothing long before they've covered the vast distances of space to their destinations, virtually every spaceship includes some kind of workaround like cryogenic freezing, space-shifting, a hyperdrive, a warp drive, an Infinite Improbability Drive, a Bistromathic Drive, etc.
