Scriptorium is a planet in the Hopkins galaxy. It is home to the enigmatic Scriptorians. Its larger cities have become centers for commerce for beings from all over the galaxy.
All life on Scriptorium was once threatened with extinction by a massive asteroid, causing the evacuation of most off-worlders who could afford it. However, a superweapon created by the Scriptorians, with a tweak from a visitor named Zita, managed to destroy it mere minutes before the point of no return.
