Robots, also known as droids, are mechanical beings with computer brains designed to serve organics and perform tasks requiring greater strength, precision, and or intelligence. However, many are independent enough to operate with little or no organic control, either by design or because they've rebelled and killed/enslaved their masters. They are the primary inhabitants of planets Ajax and Roton.
