Pewts are the only known species inhabiting the Pewter Moon of planet Poptropica. Superficially they bear a striking resemblance to Poptropicans, aside from their green polka-dotted flesh and antennae, which leads some to speculate that they share an evolutionary link in the recent past and may in fact be descended from Poptropican colonists, although how the colonists could have gotten there so long ago is a mystery.
Pewts are sparsely scattered across the moon's surface and are rarely found in large gatherings.
