The Mulgari were an evil cult from planet Smoo. Obsessed with power and strength, they were in fact the worst sort of cowards, plotting and scheming to take over Smoo but daring not to do it themselves. They relied on an evil spell known as the Mulgari Trance to control others' minds and manipulate them into taking all the responsibility.
The Mulgari were mostly wiped out by Poog over a period of several centuries. The last surviving member, Loza Throck, attempted to take over Smoo by controlling its queen, Alia Rellapor, but he was turned to stone by a spell from Akiko Kikuchi.
