The Meteor Police is an unofficial volunteer organization, unsanctioned by any government, dedicated to apprehending dangerous and/or criminal meteors. It is particularly interested in meteors that have been infected with SLIME, as they usually pose a grave threat to the entire civilization of whatever planet they land on. It can be reached at the number 1977.
Since its inception the group has taken two meteors into custody, both from planet Earth. One was named Myron.
