The Master Genetic Code Signifier is a gold crown-shaped device that controls all of the genetically engineered Ormazoids. It was intended for research purposes, but it was stolen from a research ship and used by Lord Darval to gain control of the rim worlds and attempt an invasion of planet Earth. The Doctor’s assistant “Ixionian” managed to seize it, forcing Darval to surrender and commanding the Ormazoids to start rebuilding their ravaged planet, Orm.
