Lirg-Wotwot War

The Lirg-Wotwot War was a longstanding conflict between the Lirgonians of planet Lirg and the Wotwots of planet Wotwot. It began largely due to a misunderstanding by the Lirgonians that the Wotwots intended to take over the Universe, or at least the part of it that contained Lirgonians. It was perpetuated by the many personality clashes between the two species and culminated in the Battle of Erlenmeyer, after which representatives from both worlds were forced to work together to stop the Space Mice from Galaxy Four.
