Lava Lizards are ravenous radioactive red-hot reptiles from Jupiter's moon Io. They are made of molten rock formed in the moon's mantle and held together by bouncing ions. During severe earthquakes they can erupt from volcanic vents to the surface and go on rampages, breathing fire, either until the ions degenerate and they collapse, or they are extinguished with water balloons.
