Kalit was a Jawa Chief, who's tribe included Iasa, Thedit, and his mate Aved Luun. At some indeterminable time Kalit departed from his sandcrawler on an unknown errand. His mate Aved Luun was entrusted in the care of his close friend Iasa. Kalit, at some time in the following four years, requested that Jabba the Hutt mediate a peaceful settlement between himself and his longtime rival, Wittin.
