The Jatravartids are small blue insectoid creatures from planet Viltvodle VI. Most of them believe that the entire universe was in fact sneezed out of the nose of a being called the Great Green Arkleseizure and live in perpetual worship and fear of a time they call the Coming of the Great White Handkerchief. For the most part they prefer personal worship to organized religion and make up only a small percentage of offworld preacher Humma Kavula's congregation.
Having more than fifty arms each, the Jatravartids are unique in being the only known race in history to have ever invented the aerosol deodorant before the wheel. In fact, to this day they have not entirely accomplished that milestone and are forced to ride square-wheeled bicycles.
