The Jamyns are a species of Dragons from planet Jamya. They were once primitive grazing beasts until the Mentors sped up their evolution. They were made smaller and given wings, although the wings are useless without antigrav collars. Fortunately they were allowed to keep their fire-breathing capability. Jamyns are all females and reproduce by budding, so there is little natural selection. They also have the ability to transmit knowledge of their language, and the power of thoughtspeak with anyone they are touching, through a small bite on the neck.
