Galactars are a form of currency issued by the Federation League of Planets in competition with the Imperial Galactic Government's Galabucks. At the time of their creation, one galactar was rather uncreatively designated the same worth as one Galabuck, but the Imperial Galactic Government's loss of power has caused it to be worth much more in comparison.
