A comet is a small celestial body ranging from a few hundred meters to hundreds of kilometers across, composed of loose collections of ice, dust, and small rocky particles. When close enough to a star it will display a visible coma, or thin fuzzy atmosphere, and sometimes a tail as well. The tails often include gasses such as nitronium.
