Bunker ME-1 was an underground base of operations for the female Androgenans of Terra Androgena, both during the Great Gender War and for a hundred and fifty years afterward. It held the Gender Bender machine and was staffed by, among others, Lieutenant Xina, Tiffany Targa, Zatox, repair woman Helga, Doc Slache, and Professor Ihma Pyro. Most of its technology and staff were gutted when Rex Nebular released Bud, their most dangerous prisoner, dealing a serious blow to the female Androgenans.
