Buck Bonezillion was an enterprising citizen of planet K-9 whose love of money came from a poor childhood. He started the Interplanetary Shopping Network and patented several inventions before his brother Slick got in on the action. He regularly donates bones to charities all over K-9, in memory of his youth.
