Broxholm ign Gnarx Erxxen xax Scradzz was a Scradzzen from the Gnarx Erxxen family group of planet Scradzz. He was a member of the Interplanetary League and was assigned by the Interplanetary Council to borrow five Earthling children for study of the Earth Question. Posing as a sixth-grade teacher named John Smith in a town called Kennituck Falls, he waited and tried to determine who he would kidnap - the best in the class, the worst in the class, and the three most average kids.
