Bilgen Bugs are large insects that live beneath the surface of planet Holox. They are aggressive and will attack anything that invades their territory, which necessitated the Zotaxian colonists building vehicles called Insectoids that mimicked the bugs' forms. Their eggs resemble Voltstones, and so the Zotaxians would hide Voltstones in their nests to collect power from Holox's inner sun.
