The Alderan Triangle is an area of space haunted by mysterious phenomena. It's considered exceedingly dangerous to go there, as many ships have disappeared in this region for a period of over 1500 years.
As Captain Rampo has discovered, the reason for the disappearances is that the Alderan Triangle is inhabited by a strange form of living energy forces which absorb power from anything. Entire stars have been drained off their energy by these entities, which now seek new sources of nourishment.
